My name is Carly LaGory and have I got a story to tell you! I'm just a little bitty thing from nowhere Ohio. I've never had much money and always considered myself an outsider. I'm the smelly girl from the trailer park. I am the clumsy girl who falls down a lot. The one who sweats when forced to introduce herself.
I started working full time and supporting myself before I graduated high school. I dreamed of a career and then gave it all up to raise a family. More than a year before I quit my job I bought a Thirty-One consultant kit. I never expected to do much with it. However, I loved the products and realized that even if I were my only customer I'd always save at least 25% on my own order.
I wasn't on the fast track and, truth be told, I never expected to succeed. I was sure that only prom queens with tons of money and a million friends ever get a fancy title and earn a free car or vacation or whatever. I kept going though because I got addicted to this feeling. There's a special feeling you get when you set a goal, come face to face with opposition, and then persevere. Whatever that feeling is I'm 100% sure that's what confidence is comprised of and now I'm unequivocally addicted to it.
I became a determined woman. I made a decision to push past my nervous stomach and find the confidence I needed. The confidence I needed to show myself and the world that I'm more than a broken little girl. In October 2014 my paychecks from Thirty-One started running laps around my paychecks from that old day job- without even considering the money I save on daycare. In January 2015 I earned a promotion and became an Independent Director. In April 2015 I earned my first free all inclusive vacation for two and took my over worked husband on a much needed vacation. I still can't believe it's real.
I’m living my dream! The MOST rewarding part is helping the women on Team Party Power live their dreams and being there as they overcome their own obstacles to reach their goals. It fills my cup to watch my team succeed! Thirty-One changed my life, and now I get to pay it forward <3
